About Seed Teachers

We are seeking seed teachers!  Like seeds themselves, seed knowledge is meant to be shared. A growing network of seed teachers across the Mountain West is spreading this knowledge far and wide.

The best way to ensure seed sovereignty and food security in our region is by sharing seed knowledge with others. RMSA's Seed School courses have trained hundreds of people in traditional seed saving practices. Now, these committed and passionate individuals are returning to their communities to teach others what they've learned. In this way, the seed saving movement is growing exponentially and helping build a healthy, sustainable food and seed system for the future.

Are you a graduate of any of RMSA's Seed School courses (including Seed School Teacher Training, Seed School in a Day, Seed School Online, and Grain School)? If not a Seed School graduate, are you an experienced seed saver either currently teaching or interested in becoming a teacher? We are seeking seed teachers to add to our growing database of seed saving mentors and instructors across the Rocky Mountain region and beyond.
