Thank you for your interest in contributing to this important and exciting work. Our goal with this project is to create a new, resilient grain economy for our region. By returning the heritage grain varieties of our past to active production in our farmers' fields, we can restore this vibrant and delicious local food experience in our daily lives. You are helping make this inspiring vision possible!

 

Please fill out the application form below in its entirety and click “Save” at the bottom to submit. No experience or knowledge of grains is necessary to participate. We welcome all levels of growers. The following info will be used to establish a database of information about the trials. You will also be included in a Grain Trials Directory on our website. Please indicate in the Comments section if you prefer not to be included in the directory.

Describe your seed growing experience. No previous experience necessary.

Grain Planting Info

Enter the amount of growing space you have available for grain trialing.
Enter the number of varieties you want to trial, between 1 and 110. Note that at least 50 linear ft / 40 sq ft of space is required for each variety.

Growing Practices (Organic practices required—not necessarily certified.)

List all soil amendments you use.
Describe your cultivation/weeding practices.
Describe your pest control practices.
