Heritage Grain Trials Grower Application

Thank you for your interest in contributing to this important and exciting work. Our goal with this project is to create a new, resilient grain economy for our region. By returning the heritage grain varieties of our past to active production in our farmers' fields, we can restore this vibrant and delicious local food experience in our daily lives. You are helping make this inspiring vision possible!

Please fill out the application form below in its entirety and click “Join” at the bottom to submit. We ask for a $50 donation to participate in the program.  Your donation is a contribution to the seed diversity movement and supports the sustainability of this program by allowing us to purchase necessary materials and pay staff members to manage the program communications. No experience or knowledge of grains is necessary to participate. We all need your help.  We welcome all levels of growers. The following info will be used to establish a database of information about the trials. You will also be included in a Grain Trials Directory on our website. Please indicate in the Comments section if you prefer not to be included in the directory.
All of our programs are offered at a sliding scale, and we have scholarships available. Please inquire with Frances ( to receive a scholarship to the program. We appreciate your connection and commitment to the seed saving movement.
