Grain Day at King’s Crown Organic Farm

Join Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance for an exploration into the wonderful and diverse world of heritage grains. Partnering with the Local Food Alliance and the Wood River Seed Library, Research Grain Trialist Wilder Jones of King’s Crown Organic Farm will offer his experience growing 20 varieties of ancient and heritage grains. Hands-on grain harvesting and cleaning demos will take place in the field, and Tim Cornie will share the story of 1,000 Springs Mill and their efforts with growing and marketing local grains.
