eNewsletter for October 19, 2017
Flordemayo, one of the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers and founder of the seedkeeping organization The Path, is facing financial challenges. Her 40-acre property and Seed Temple in Estancia, New Mexico is in danger of being sold. Since 2012, this site has been stewarding thousands of seeds for the nourishment of future generations, including seeds on behalf of the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance! Please support Flordemayo's crowdfunding campaign to save the Seed Temple and preserve the wisdom and traditions of these sacred seeds. These are exactly the times when our community must join together to preserve our seed heritage. Thank you! Watch the video above to learn more about The Path and Seed Temple |
